Returns

  1. Returns for Non-Defective Items (Customer Error): If you need to return an item due to customer error, such as ordering the wrong size or style, we are happy to assist you. However, please note that in such cases, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

  2. Returns for Defective Items: We take pride in the quality of our products, but if you receive a defective item, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We offer free returns and replacements for defective items. Please follow the return instructions below for defective items.

Return Instructions:

For returns, whether due to customer error or defective items, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team at hellofriend@gentlehound.co within 30 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number and details of the issue.

  2. Return Authorization: We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and detailed return instructions. Please do not return any items without obtaining an RA number from us.

  3. Return Packaging: Carefully package the item(s) you wish to return, including all original tags and packaging (if applicable).

  4. Return Shipping (Non-Defective Items): If you are returning an item due to customer error (e.g., wrong size or style), you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. You can use a shipping method of your choice.

  5. Return Shipping (Defective Items): If you are returning a defective item, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label for your return. Please follow the instructions provided in our email.

  6. Replacement (Defective Items): If you are returning a defective item and wish to receive a replacement, we will process a replacement order for you promptly after receiving and inspecting the returned item.

  7. Refund (Non-Defective Items): For returns of non-defective items, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item(s) minus any shipping fees. Refunds will be processed once we receive and inspect the returned item(s).

Please note that items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, and with all tags attached (if applicable) to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

GentleHound is a clothing brand dedicated to celebrating the beauty and resilience of sighthounds through stylish apparel. We are passionate about sighthounds, including Greyhounds, Galgos, and Lurchers, and our mission is to support sighthound rescue while offering unique and quality clothing options for sighthound enthusiasts.

At GentleHound, we donate 4% of all gross sales on each product to sighthound rescue organizations. We use the Daily Karma platform to facilitate donations, ensuring transparency and efficiency. We have chosen to sponsor Save A Galgo Espanol and GreySave as we believe in and resonate deeply with both of their missions to rescue and rehome galgos, greyhounds and other sighthounds in need. They will receive payouts every 30-45 days, with no processing fees on their end.
